The Daily Painting Series started in February 2009 with a goal of completeing 30 paintings
in 30 days. That initial project began on February 1st and concluded
on March 2nd, 2009. The majority of the paintings
were oil on panel, measuring 6 x 6 inches square. The marathon pace
of completing a painting every day was wonderuflly exciting, but ultimately
difficult to maintain over the long term beyond the first 30 days. Since
that initial project I have continued to do these small scale paintings, usually completing each in a day's time. |
